This expression is used to describe that a quality of something leans in a particular direction<br/>
When a descriptive verb stem ends in 2 a vowel, or in the consonant  ‘ㄹ,’ add  ‘-ㄴ 편이다.’ <br/>
For descriptive verb stems that end in  any consonant other than ‘ㄹ,’ add  ‘-은 편이다.’ <br/>
For action verbs,  ‘있다,’ and ‘없다,’ use ‘-는 편이다’ as shown below. <br/><br/>

Example sentences are below.<br/>
할아버지께서는 건강한 편이세요.<br/>
운동장이 꽤 넓은 편이네요.<br/>
저 가게는 음식이 맛있는 편인데 손님이 별로 없어.<br/><br/>

민 : 넌 운동을 잘해?<br/>
유리 : 잘 못하는 편이야.<br/><br/>

엄마 : 김치 맛이 어때요?<br/>
아빠 : 조금 매운 편이에요.<br/><br/>

지나 : 맛있는 편이야.<br/><br/>

유리 : 방이 조금 좁지?<br/>
